Seeing Artifacts Through A Fictional Character's Eyes

The Ironclad Alibi is a "Harrison Raines Civil War Mystery," by Michael Kilian. Harrison Raines is a fictional character who interacts with real persons and participates in real events in the Civil War era. One of the supporting characters was Elizabeth Van Lew, of Richmond, Virginia, who spied for the Union.
