Sketches, historical and descriptive, of Louisiana,  By Major Amos Stoddard, Corps United States' Artellerists, at Fort Columbus.





Perhaps no Colony for the first few years of its existence ever suffered more than that of Louisiana.

Major Stoddard died at Fort Meigs during the War of 1812.
